The purpose of this visit is to understand Taiwan’s current beekeeping status as well as the Taiwanese method in queen bee pupa cultivation. Queen bee pupa is indeed far more superior than royal jelly because of its high concentration of amino acids and juvenile hormone when compared to royal jelly which is merely a queen bee’s exclusive source of food. Comparison between the effects of royal jelly and queen bee pupa showed queen bee pupa to display far superior effects than royal jelly, especially in terms of feminine skin maintenance and anti-age effects. If Japan is to use premium quality queen bee pupa, it must be imported from Taiwan, a country with world’s number one queen bee pupa quality for supreme anti-age and health preservation effects.p>
